Barking Riverside Stage 1

Barking Riverside which is part of the larger Thames Gateway redevelopment scheme over 20 year duration will ultimately deliver 11,500 new homes, Schools and public amenities on a former brown field site. The fundamental role of Barking Riverside is to remediate the land and construct the major infrastructure servicing the development plots. FDL employed as Principle Contractor have been involved with Barking Riverside for several years most recently delivering the first phase of the infrastructure to stage 1 of 5 stages. This involved the construction of over 1.2 kilometres of Drainage, Highway,  Footway and Cycleway, a new 30m span road bridge over Buzzards Mouth Creek, and all associated hard landscaping, streetlight and street furniture.
