FDL acting as Principal Contractor in design and construct contract for a deep basement and superstructure works. The basement specification required a Grade 3 environment for end use as a computer data centre.
Scope of works comprises:
- Dewatering operations
- Construction of a 3500m² basement raft slab and perimeter walls incorporating waterproof membranes, waterproof concrete and cavity drainage measures.
- Partially buried ground floor suspended RC and pre-cast concrete slabs
- RC superstructure
- Further works comprising external parking areas and infrastructure as well as extensive Section 278 works
