Training /Health and Safety

Closely linked with our quality policy is the high priority given to Training. Our training objective is to improve business performance through improving people performance. At head office we hold a human resources database of all our current employee training certificates and this is updated in real time to ensure that only operatives with the relevant qualifications are dispatched to sites where specific requirements are needed. The database is accessible by the site managers to ensure that they have the correctly qualified operatives for their planned operations. The database is also used to identify ongoing training needs and where refresher courses are required. Training and development is fully integrated into the business strategy and is reported on regularly at management board meetings.

Health and Safety

Foundation Developments Limited has always been committed to safeguarding the health, safety and welfare of our employees and others who may be affected by our activities.

We have a safety management system, which has been developed over many years through implementing statutory obligations and by a concerted effort to learn from experience.

Health and Safety are managed at all levels of the Company and a strong team-based approach is promoted. Managers have the support of a well-resourced and professional safety department, which is able to provide advice, assistance, training and auditing in all aspects of Health and Safety.

We can offer our Clients first-rate competence in all aspects as an integral part of our services. Our current Health and Safety Plan is issued to all of our Clients or the Principal Contractor on appointment.
